Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station Off-site Road will be Green Energy Saving

Following the implementation of LED energy-saving retrofits for Shenzhen Science and Technology Building lighting system, recently, China Guangdong Nuclear Energy Industry Development Co., Ltd. and Daya Bay Nuclear Power Operation Co., Ltd. signed a contract for the green lighting energy-saving reconstruction project outside the Daya Bay nuclear power plant. The scope of transformation includes the Daya Bay nuclear power base Binhai Garden Community, Lingao Road, coastal roads, inbound tunnels, and the Kaolin Mountain Tunnel. The project plans to use high-efficiency, green LED lamps to replace 878 high-pressure sodium lamps. After the project is completed, it will reduce electricity consumption by approximately 1.22 million kwh per year, equivalent to a standard coal consumption of 150 tons per year, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1,200 tons per year.
