Deng Ziwen: First of all, thank you very much for your welcome to us. In fact, today's topic is mainly about energy conservation and energy management. It will also be the core of Leviton's future development in the Chinese market. Why do we have to do a national roadshow? It is mainly to tell everyone about our latest information. Of course, in today's meeting, we actually have three most important themes. One is our brand LOGO. In the past, we were not the LOGO. We changed a new LOGO. In addition, our positioning is to tell the media what brand positioning we are currently in China. The third is the release of some new products.

Home: Your theme today is environmental protection?

Deng Ziwen: Not only environmental protection, but also energy saving.

Home: The advertising words you advertise today: Tomorrow is quite different. Can you tell me what will happen tomorrow?

Deng Ziwen: First of all, I put two meanings in the theme. You will appreciate the environmental protection from our interpretation to our gifts and in many small links. In addition, it is our energy management, in fact, energy management is a means of energy conservation. So, the question you ask is what we want to reflect today, that is, we will give all the guests a feeling that we have some strategies. There are some products that can help everyone and achieve energy-saving effects without changing our living habits. This is the most An important instillation of a concept.

Moreover, I also gave all the guests a feeling that Leviton is very environmentally friendly. From the production process of its products, it can be seen from some of the materials it uses. I will tell you this common sense in my speech. .

Home: Mr. Deng, I am from the Aladdin Lighting Network. I saw the data in Leviton. The product consists of four large blocks. I may ask questions about lighting. We know that at present, our country's 11th Five-Year Plan, including the green lighting project that the country has been pursuing, I have also seen that Leviton has been emphasizing its commitment to China's energy-saving cause. I would like to ask if there are any new initiatives in the form of cooperation with the government, or are there any successful cooperation cases given to us?

Deng Ziwen: Actually, there are a few things we must do and we must do. Because a foreign-funded enterprise enters China, it is impossible to have a good effect if it relies solely on its own strength to promote it. So, we will be in every place, of course, we will cooperate with some experts in some big designs in Beijing. But more importantly, today we have invited some of the guests to be energy-saving people in Shenzhen. Someone is a government official who specializes in energy, to cooperate with him. Our cooperation can hold some press conferences through us, but more importantly, we cooperate with its policies. There are several aspects: First, we may introduce our energy-saving measures to him and recommend them to them through their relationship. . Second, depending on the requirements of the market, we will also think about whether there are some suitable so-called products to do research and development according to his requirements. Because we have our research and development capabilities, we can do both.

As for other methods, we will participate in so-called energy conservation seminars held in many different countries, and we will be very active in participating, including the possibility that we will participate in a large-scale seminar organized by a national energy conservation office in Beijing in October this year.

Home: I want to continue to ask this topic. Do you mean that Leviton has developed products specifically for the Chinese market in response to the needs of the Chinese market and the Chinese government?

Deng Ziwen: Yes. Not only for the Chinese government, we want to use our experience in the United States, because energy management in the United States is very mature, and there are many regulations that have been introduced, including the area where the area must be installed with sensors. If a room exceeds a certain level, I must have something to save energy and turn off the lights. There are very mature regulations. However, there is currently no such thing in China, so we will give more information to these departments for reference.

Home: Leviton is aimed at high-end consumer groups. How do you instill the concept of environmental protection and energy conservation into them?

Deng Ziwen: Actually this is a beautiful misunderstanding. We are not just targeting high-end consumers. Because in the United States, Leviton's market share is more than 50%, so 50% is not dedicated to high-end, may have a higher standard of living in the United States, and their differences in living standards are not as big as China's, everyone is in Inside the middle class. But in China, we also realized that at the beginning we might be more commercial-oriented customer base, but in fact, if we want to succeed, we must be separated from the lives of ordinary people. So our bigger purpose is to hope that Leviton will do our business in a mid-to-high-end market, not just for high-end consumers. And some of the products we come out are generally affordable to the general public. This is our goal.

For example, cars, Mercedes-Benz have many grades, if you see the Mercedes-Benz market in Germany, in fact, most people are open C-class, because they use Mercedes-Benz taxis. I said that I can do high-end market, but Mercedes-Benz is Mercedes-Benz, Li Wei Teng is Li Wei Teng, we are talking about quality, brand, so we will not only target the high-end market, but also hope to cooperate with the general people can accept.

Home: When consumers choose Leviton, he only needs to see the concept of Leviton's energy saving.

Deng Ziwen: You asked a very good question. When I took over the team of Leviton, I set a goal for Leviton. The goal is that in the next three to five years, when you hear the brand of Leviton, I hope all consumers. Of course, it is a professional consumer, not an ordinary citizen. A professional consumer who hears the name of Leviton will think of three things: First, this is an American company. Because in the industry of switch panels, most of them are from Europe, and there are very few in the United States. However, we can't change this kind of inheritance from the United States, so I hope that people see that Leviton thinks this is an American company, the United States Li Wei Teng, this is the first association.

Second, what kind of background does the United States represent? It is high-tech: Microsoft, Intel, and most of the high-tech products are from the United States. So we are ourselves, many of our sensors, many energy management systems, and many wiring products are high-tech. Therefore, I hope that consumers will see that Leviton will remember that this is a high-tech company.

The third is the energy management consultant that I want to promote today. So if after five years, when you hear Leviton again, you will think of the US high-tech energy management consultant, which means that my work in the past few years has not been in vain.
