Project introduction

TMS470PLF221RFPQ1 is an ARM-based ARM7 core that is specially developed for the development of automotive instrument clusters. It features six stepper motor drivers that can simultaneously perform subdivision control of six meter motors, while on-chip high-performance co-processing. The HET can be used to generate very accurate timing, with DMA and multi-buffered serial SPI, can complete the design of external functions, and take up very little resources. In addition, the chip built-in CAN and LIN controller, is very suitable for car Dashboard development. Lilda has now developed a high-end car dashboard solution with TFT LCD based on the TMS470PLF221RFPQ1.
