From May 7th to 9th, 2010, the 6th Beijing International LED Exhibition was held in China International Exhibition Center. HC Lighting Network was one of the invited media of the exhibition and attended the lighting exhibition. At the exhibition site, editors and reporters of HC Lighting Network interviewed some enterprises participating in the exhibition.
Mr. Shen Xuedong, deputy general manager of Zhejiang Haiwei Semiconductor Lighting Co., Ltd., accepted our interview at the exhibition.
Reporter: First of all, I would like to thank Shen for accepting the interview of HC Lighting Network during his busy schedule. Please briefly introduce the main products brought by this exhibition?
Shen Xuedong: At this exhibition, we brought outdoor LED street lights and landscape lighting. Our LED lamps are mainly based on the outdoors.
Reporter: As soon as I came in, I saw this relatively fresh lamp. It looks like a wooden bucket, so beautiful. How many times did your company participate in such exhibitions in Beijing?
Shen Xuedong: This is the first time to participate in the Beijing exhibition, because some customers in Beijing want to know more about our products.
Reporter: Hey, is there any other exhibition in China? What do you think is the biggest help for attending such an exhibition?
Shen Xuedong: Yes, it’s just the first time in Beijing. Exhibitors can better communicate face-to-face with customers directly, and at the same time enhance the image of the company, compare it with peers, and better promote each other.
Reporter: How long has Haiwei been doing LEDs? What is the entire operating model?
Shen Xuedong: Zhejiang Haiwei has been focusing on LED applications since 2004. It is a professional LED lighting manufacturer integrating development, production, sales and service. Before 2004, it was mainly export-oriented. 08 began domestic sales. The main areas were designated as North China and Jiangsu and Zhejiang. The light source supplier was Cree, and the chips were imported into the United States and Japan. In the early days, they all cooperated with design companies.
Reporter: Have you participated in the design of the Expo lighting project? What are the more successful cases?
Shen Xuedong: Participated in the high-power LED lights of the Harmony Tower of the Expo; Shanghai Lupu Bridge, Haiwei has won the favor of a large number of customers with its unique exterior design and obtained relevant patents.
