PTC recently announced the launch of WindchillProductPoint, a new solution for processing and sharing development information. Windchill ProductPoint will help SharePoint enter the product development arena.
Windows SharePointServes is Microsoft's collaborative infrastructure and has been widely adopted by manufacturing companies as Office applications, primarily for sharing and managing files. With PTC WindchillProductPoint, CAD-compatible SharePoint will continue to extend the user experience of SharePoint and be used in more product development teams. For OEMs and vendors, the future release of WindchillProductPoint is expected to support the sharing of information between several other Windchill-based systems.
