The LED lighting project of the Qianjiang Tunnel Project was selected as the national semiconductor lighting demonstration project for large traffic flow underwater tunnels and was selected as a national semiconductor tunnel light application project. At present, the West Line of the Qianjiang Tunnel is in full swing with LED lighting fixtures.

18 tests to choose the best LED lights

The length of the Qianjiang tunnel is 4,450 meters. Two LED lamps will be installed on each of the west tunnel and the east tunnel. The installation of one LED lamp on the west side of the Qianjiang tunnel has been completed. The installation of the LED lamp on the other side of the west line has also been completed. It has completed 3810 meters, accounting for 48% of the entire amount of LED lighting installed in the tunnel, and its operation is in good condition.

According to reports, the quality of LED lighting in the Qianjiang Tunnel is very high. Since there are no technical specifications for LED high-power lighting in tunnels at home and abroad, the constructors of the Qianjiang tunnel project have thought of a way to invite 4 domestic well-known LED lighting manufacturers to reach 200 meters in the tunnel. Within six months, 24 hours of uninterrupted lighting comparisons were conducted, and through 18 routine illumination tests, brightness tests, and comparison tests, the manufacturer with the best lighting effect was selected to ensure the quality of tunnel lighting equipment.

80% energy saving over traditional light sources

The Qianjiang Tunnel LED lighting segment includes lighting transition section lighting, buried section lighting and round tunnel lighting. In view of the 24-hour uninterrupted lighting characteristics of the tunnel, the Qianjiang Tunnel adopts a green, high-efficiency, long-life LED light source. According to reports, this semiconductor light source can reduce light pollution and establish a high-quality, high-efficiency, economical comfort, safe and reliable tunnel lighting environment.

According to reports, Qianjiang Tunnel LED lighting energy than traditional light more than 80%, and the service life of up to 50,000 hours to 100,000 hours, and no mercury, no radiation, no heat, recyclable, environmental protection effect is remarkable. It is estimated that by using LED lighting, it can save 2.47 million kWh annually and save 1.8 million yuan in electricity bills, which has significant economic benefits; at the same time, it can greatly reduce carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide emissions.

Demonstration is huge

The National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the Ministry of Transport organized and implemented demonstration projects for semiconductor lighting products in 2010. Qianjiang Tunnel Semiconductor Lighting Product Application Demonstration Project, as the only large-flow-through-flow tunnel underwater semiconductor demonstration project, was selected for the semiconductor tunnel lamp application project.

It is understood that China is the country with the largest number of tunnels in the world. Of the nearly 5,000 tunnels in the country, only a dozen tunnels have LED tunnel lights applied, and the number of kilometers used is less than one-eighth of the total length of tunnels. Qianjiang Tunnel LED lighting demonstration project is of great significance to the promotion and application of semiconductor lighting products in China.
