In the Chinese auto market, the French brand can be described as a self-contained one. They come with a romantic bloodline and they can always be the focus of the "car". However, due to various reasons, French cars have not been widely recognized in the Chinese market, and have been labeled as “niche brands” and even marginalized. In order to continue to attack the Chinese auto market, it has launched a new SUV to attract the attention of consumers.

The new model, named Tianyi C5 AIRCROSS, is defined as a compact SUV and can be regarded as a brother of the Dongfeng Peugeot 4008. The new car will be officially launched on July 19 and will be officially launched in September.

Tianyi C5-AIRCROSS: appearance

The new car has a size of 4510/1860/1670mm (with a height of 1705mm) and a wheelbase of 2730mm. In terms of design, the new car looks like the design element of the AIR CROSS concept car. The front grille and the light unit are all in a split shape. The car-mounted suspension roof is equipped with a roof rack that draws on the “surfboard” shape and has a contrast color design.

From the side, the Tianyi C5 AIRCROSS has a suspended roof design, and the vertical C-pillar and side window edge chrome trim are exceptionally distinctive.

The tail shape is more rounded, and the inside of the rectangular tail light group is an independent ring light strip, which is highly recognized after lighting. The vents on the lower side of the rear bumper are larger in size and are decorated with chrome plating.

For the interior, the interior style of the Tianyi C5 AIRCROSS is similar to that of the Citroen C6. A large number of rounded rectangular elements are used for design. The layout of the center console is also very neat, with a two-color interior color scheme, which is quite textured. In the material, a large number of soft plastic materials and leather materials are used, and the color combination of red and black is very young and dynamic.

The new car will be equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD color digital meter, support a variety of theme switching, and can interact with the 8-inch car multimedia entertainment system real-time dual-screen smart, flexible and convenient operation.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with 1.6T and 1.8T turbocharged engines with maximum power of 123kW and 150kW and peak torque of 245Nm and 280Nm respectively. The transmission system matches the engine with a 6-speed automatic manual transmission.

As a legal brand, a strong design base is the advantage of Citroé¾™n. The new car's exterior design is highly restored. The split-type horizontal air intake grille is connected to the front headlights, which is full of atmosphere; the large-sized air intakes on both sides of the front bumper are exactly the same as the Peugeot 4008. The new car uses the most popular suspension roof design to create a vibrant atmosphere. The four ring-shaped LED strips at the rear of the car echo the headlights and are highly recognizable. The rear surround of the large black material gives the new car a bit of off-road temperament.
