As one of the core components of a hydropower station, the hydro-generator system is huge and complicated, and it is often located in a remote place. How to efficiently monitor and analyze equipment failures in the early stage is an important issue in optimizing the operation and maintenance system of the hydro-turbine.
1. Necessity of operation and maintenance of hydroelectric generator
Nowadays, people's lives are more and more inseparable from electricity. In the promotion of renewable energy, the value of hydropower generation is self-evident, and hydropower units play a vital role in this process. Hydro-generator, as the name implies, is a machine that uses hydro-turbines as the prime mover to convert water energy into electrical energy. It is the main equipment for producing electrical energy in hydropower stations.
The hydraulic turbine is composed of main components such as frame, rotor, stator, thrust bearing, rotary bearing, cooler and so on. It is precisely because of the many and complicated components that the hydraulic turbine will be affected by various unstable factors in the actual operation process. In order to ensure the stable operation of the entire power system of the hydropower plant, it is necessary to ensure the stability of the turbine, so it is extremely important to do the inspection and maintenance of the unit. How to monitor the operation status of the turbine in real time, remotely analyze the faults of the unit to transfer the maintenance personnel of the pairing port, build a large database and formulate an algorithm to analyze the cause of most failures, and effectively contain it at the budding stage are important for the development and optimization of the current turbine inspection system Subject.

Second, the pain points of daily operation and maintenance work
The turbine unit itself is large in size, and the detection system has many and complicated wiring harnesses, which is not conducive to maintenance and daily fault location. The monitoring of the unit is all concentrated in the closed system in the background. Although the power plant has a maintenance team, the power plant is not a professional maintenance company after all. It does not have a deep understanding of the turbine unit. The daily simple problems can be dealt with. Once a major machine failure occurs, professional investigators must be sent to the site Only by conducting surveys can we obtain fault information. Because the failure information cannot be obtained in advance, it is not possible to determine whether it is a mechanical failure, a communication failure or a software back-end server failure. There are often cases where the dispatched professionals need to be redeployed because the failure type is not the same, resulting in a waste of time and manpower, greatly increasing Cost of daily operation and maintenance.

3. Solutions based on data acquisition equipment
Based on the DM100 data acquisition recorder, a collection system suitable for the distribution mode of the hydraulic turbine is built. The host computer builds its model of the data collected by each sensor node for algorithm analysis. After obtaining the results, it is transmitted to the remote background server via Ethernet. Judging the type of fault, dispatching a suitable technician to troubleshoot, and the storage function allows the technician to quickly obtain the parameters of the unit in the past period of time, which improves the troubleshooting rate. Through such a data collection mode, the time for troubleshooting of the entire hydraulic unit is greatly shortened.
