The Liaoshen Battle Memorial Hall is a large-scale military special memorial hall integrating historical and cultural communication, art exhibition and landscape architecture. It was founded in 1959. In 1988, the new museum was completed and opened to the public (with a total investment of 27 million yuan). Marshal Ye Jianying wrote the name of the museum. The pavilion consists of three parts, namely Nanyuan (Scenic District), Zhongyuan (Memorial Park), and Beiyuan (tour park). The whole building has a rectangular shape, covering an area of ​​188,000 square meters and a theme building area of ​​8,600 square meters. There are more than 11,000 cultural relics in the collection and 23 national cultural relics. After 15 years of opening, Yang Shangkun, President of the State Council, Zhu Rongji, Premier of the State Council, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission, General Liu Huaqing, General Zhang Zhen, General Xu Caihou, and other leaders of the State Ministry of Foreign Affairs visited the museum. In 15 years, it has received more than 10 million visitors and visitors from home and abroad.
The Liaoshen Battle Memorial Hall is a special military struggle memorial hall that comprehensively reflects the history of the Northeast Liberation War and highlights the great victory of the Liao Dynasty Campaign. The two sides of the war are the Northeast Field Army and the Northeast Kuomintang Army. The basic display is divided into four parts: the War Embassy, ​​the Front Hall, the British Hall and the first panoramic gallery in China. The architectural style highlights the characteristics of the military struggle, and the Chinese-style archway symbolizes the victory of the "Arc de Triomphe." The art form of display, using oil painting, sculpture, sand table, light guide chart, closed circuit television, large screen projection, landscape restoration, panoramic painting and other artistic means, organically integrated into each display layout. The memorial hall after the renovation in 2004 expanded the floor space and formed a memorial park for the integration of the three parks. The central axis extends 600 meters to the south. At the southern end of the central axis, a new gate of 2,400 square meters was built. Relying on the terrain of the south and the north, the 104 steps were built and went straight to the memorial plaza. Widened the 5,000 square meters of Memorial Square. A new fierce directory wall of 150 meters was built. The basic display in the museum has completely transformed the original four parts. The building materials are all modernized with the latest materials and techniques. The display art uses the latest scientific and technological achievements, multimedia, image synthesis, projection and other technical means to make the new display more Solemn, dignified, spacious, atmospheric, war features more intense, refreshing, can be called the red classic.
To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the victory of the "Liaoyan Campaign" and the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Jinzhou, one of the three major battles of the Great Liberation War, this evening upgrades the night scene lighting of the Liaosheng Campaign Memorial Tube, mainly to the South Gate (the Gate of Victory). Enhance the square, the memorial tower square, the memorial pine forest, the main exhibition hall, the panoramic painting hall, etc. for outdoor lighting projects, and improve the image of the entire memorial hall at night.
