Virtual reality is a major trend in games and other entertainment. But one thing that is worrying is that this technology may not be the best choice for society.
Nanitic Labs executive director John Hanke shared his insights at the Mixed Reality Summit in London. According to GI.biz, Hank said that VR may be “overdone†and may lead people to spend more time in the digital world.
He said: "My opinion on VR is that I worry that it may be overkill, leading people to hope to stay in it longer. I mean, I already worry that my children will play too much in My World. More, though, this is a great game."

At the Mixed Reality Summit, Hank stated that Augmented Reality has "great potential" to have a positive impact on people. Niantic had previously stated that one of the goals of Pokemon Go is to help the world become better.
