"TASE400 LD provides operators with day and night, visible mid-wave infrared (MWIR) imaging capabilities to improve situational awareness, optimize lens design, and enhance object recognition capabilities," said Jake Jacobs, Chief Technology Officer of PAE ISR. An onboard global positioning system with integrated geolocation and visual tactical processing, development and dissemination (PED), inertial navigation system (GPS/INS) enables operators to perform multi-task recording and dissemination of critical data. The laser pointer of this system is compatible with all NATO-guided munitions and semi-active laser detectors, and fully complies with NATO STANAG 3733's requirements for low power consumption and high output energy, providing operators with extremely high precision at long distances.
