Siemens lights up the world's largest rotating Christmas lights

Siemens and multimedia artist Michael Pendry light up the world's largest rotating Christmas star. This luminaire starts at dawn every evening, and pedestrians in the North District of Munich can see its glamour throughout the Christmas season. “Siemens Superstar is a technological innovation project and an important symbol of the Copenhagen Global Climate Summit. Green innovation illuminates our path to a better life in the future,” said Siemens President and CEO Luo Xude. “During the Christmas period, Munich added a new landmark. It represents renewable energy and energy efficiency. These are also important issues for Munich. By 2025, we want to make Munich the world's first renewable energy source. The city of demand," Munich Mayor Christian Ude said with enthusiasm. “I want art to go out of the museum,” explains lighting artist Michael Pendry.
The author understands that in the past 12 months, Siemens and Munich multimedia artist Michael Pendry have developed and completed this unique technological innovation project. This lighting fixture includes 9,000 Siemens OSRAM light-emitting diodes (LEDs) – the brightness of these LEDs is equivalent to 20,000 Christmas candles. However, the entire lighting device consumes only as much as a blower or electric kettle. On a clear day, this masterpiece of art can be seen 30 kilometers away. The world's largest rotating Christmas star spans about 70 meters, the width of a football field.
The installation of the rotating Christmas star uses a cable of about 400 meters? It is exactly the height of the Eiffel Tower. This illuminator adds 100 kilograms of weight per rotor blade. Through the super-strong glue applied to space technology, these LEDs are fixed on the wind turbine blades. These LEDs will withstand 20G when the wind is rising, which is equivalent to more than three times the gravity of the astronauts when the rocket is launched. . Just a few days ago, T???VS???D?? was responsible for inspecting and testing the technical service company of the technical device, and finally approved the device into operation. At that time, residents, drivers and air passengers in Munich can enjoy the beauty of the city under the night.

The author was informed that since the wind turbine was located near the A9 motorway (a major traffic artery not far from the airport, with a daily traffic volume of 150,000), it was considered an ideal lighting facility from the beginning. In the fall of 2008, representatives from Siemens and multimedia artists in Munich began discussions on building a shining symbol of green technology and sustainable development on the eve of the Copenhagen Global Climate Conference. What else can better display environmentally friendly electricity than wind turbines? The wind turbine operator Stadtwerke Mänchen (Munich Power Company) provided full support for the project from the very beginning.
In the next few months, creativity has gradually become a reality. First, the technical feasibility of the project needs to be examined. In the spring of 2009, a number of experts in the fields of wind power, aerodynamics, lighting and glue gathered together to present all the issues that must be addressed to complete the project. They must find the answer to all the key questions: How do you place LEDs to have the least impact on the aerodynamic forces generated by the wind turbine? Which LED should I use? Which glue can ensure the robustness of the LED in all weather conditions?
This summer, wind power experts finally completed the computer simulation analysis of the impact of the device on the aerodynamics of the rotor, and conducted field tests: in the wind tunnel test conducted by the Technical University of Berlin, more than 15 LED configuration models, lighting arrangements and wiring The analysis was carried out until the best solution was found. Tests have shown that the LED device has little effect on the performance of the wind turbine.
However, even after the summer wind tunnel test is completed, some problems remain unresolved. The project must be approved by all relevant departments. Finally, and most importantly, the lighting fixture must be assembled within two weeks. The 30 technicians worked day and night to ensure that the Siemens Superstar was on schedule for the entire two-day period. The lighting device also needs to be adjusted in real time depending on the wind speed and the speed of the wind turbine itself.

Mobile Screen Protectors

The Hydrogel Screen Protector is made of imported material with TPU as the base material and is combined with hydrogel. It has super ductility and retractability, and can perfectly adapt to curved screens and screens with excessively curved edges, so as to fit perfectly without leaving white edges, and basically does not affect the touch experience. It has a strong and effective self-healing function, is impact-resistant, durable, and has better toughness, and has a certain buffering effect on the collision of sharp objects.

The Hydrogel Screen Protector uses glue and hydrogel to activate the stickiness to ensure a perfect fit without warping and leaving blanks, which is more beautiful. The Hydrogel Film is very thin. The responsive, ultra-thin design gives you a bare-bones experience. It's not as thick as a Tempered Glass Screen Protector, so the hydrogel screen protector won't affect the weight and feel of the phone.

In terms of hand feel, the Hydrogel Screen Protective Film has a hydrophobic and oleophobic treatment, so it slides relatively smoothly, and there is no problem in using APP or playing games. In addition, the liquid spilled on it can be slipped off by just tilting it, which is very easy to clean and maintain.
