In the production and import and export of LED components, Taiwanese companies make good use of economies of scale and quality, and cooperate with the global LED market to continue to grow. ITRI estimates that the total output value of LED components in Taiwan this year will be 80 billion Taiwan dollars. It is expected to reach 1920 billion Taiwan dollars.
Among them, China is still Taiwan's largest export destination, accounting for 66%, and due to the demand for TV backlight modules, South Korea's dependence increased, accounting for 11%, Japan 9%, the United States and Malaysia are 3%, the other 8%.
In terms of imports of LED components, Japan is the largest, accounting for 36%, followed by China 28%, Malaysia 18%, US 5%, South Korea 3%, and other 10%.
