This figure has almost reached half of the provincial-level matching funds (3.546 billion yuan) arranged by 8 provinces from 2015 to 2016. The special funds of 203.036 million yuan related to new energy vehicles and charging infrastructure have not been activated in the local finance department for various reasons.
In addition, of the 35,500 new energy vehicles purchased by the 16 companies (including 10 car rental companies) audited, 0.22 million were idle for less than one year, and 17,200 vehicles were less than 3,000 kilometers.

The main targets were more than 90 mainstream new energy manufacturing companies. In this regard, at the end of 2016, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Development and Reform Commission jointly issued the Notice on Adjusting the Financial Subsidy Policy for the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles, and began to adjust and improve relevant policies. For example, to reduce the subsidy standard for some models, the cumulative mileage of non-individual users to purchase new energy vehicles must reach 30,000 kilometers as one of the application subsidy conditions.
Judging from the current trend, the tracing of the new energy vehicle fraud incident is far from over. Miao Wei, Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, has specifically emphasized that in the future, special supervision on the promotion and application of new energy vehicles will be carried out to crack down on fraudulent activities.
"No matter how many, find together, investigate and deal with.
