Project Description

1. Project background

   In 2002, the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government made a strategic decision to implement the comprehensive development and construction of the two sides of the Haihe River. It is planned to complete the infrastructure construction of the upstream city section in 3~5 years; complete the overall development and construction of the upstream and downstream areas in 10-15 years. The Haihe River will be built into a unique, international first-class service-oriented economic belt, landscape belt and cultural belt.

Tianjin Lishunde Hotel is located on the west bank of Haihe River in Tianjin. It is part of the Tianjin Haihe Lighting Nightscape Enhancement Project and belongs to the key lighting section. As the oldest five-star hotel in Tianjin, the hotel has been around for more than 130 years. It retains the characteristics of British classical architecture and European medieval garden architecture. It is a unique representative building of the historical concession of Tianjin. National key cultural relics protection unit. The night lighting design was carried out on the basis of the overall renovation project of the Lishunde Hotel. The design should consider the unified requirements of the Haihe Lighting section, and at the same time highlight the long history and cultural heritage of the Lishunde Hotel and create an important lighting along the Haihe River. 2. Design range

It mainly includes the façade of the hotel along Jiefang North Road, Tai'an Road and Taierzhuang Road, combined with the renovation of the Grand Hotel to carry out the lighting design of the night façade. While meeting the lighting requirements of the location, it will fully enhance the nighttime taste and atmosphere of the hotel and the surrounding environment, making it meet the important position of the Astor Hotel.

3. Status of lighting carriers

The Lishunde Hotel was expanded three times in 1886, 1924 and 1984 respectively. In 2009, it was completely renovated and renovated. The project carrier showed different characteristics on different façades along the street. Mainly divided into three street facades:

1. According to Jiefang North Road, it is divided into two parts: the 1942 building and the 1886 building facade. In 1886, the original bungalow was converted into a three-storey building in 1886, and the corner tower was five stories. It is a British classical style building with a light and lively style. This part presents the three-segment features of classical architecture. The facade features prominent lines and obvious lines. The tower located at the southeast corner is an important lighting carrier for displaying the landmark status of the hotel. In 1942, the building was built with European-style architecture.

2. The section along Tai'an Road is the 1863 Building and the 1984 West Building Facade.

3. The section along Taierzhuang Road is the building and building in 1984. It faces the Haihe River and has the largest volume. From the function of the section and the function of the building, the night illumination design of the facade is carried out. From the perspective of the section, the lighting intensity of the section of the hotel is relatively high. It is necessary to make the façade meet certain lighting brightness levels to meet the test requirements. From the perspective of building use function, the night illumination of the facade should avoid affecting the operation of indoor hotels. As well as the normal use of the room at night, the design is considered to use the partial projection method for the overall lighting design.

Energy saving measures in lighting design:

(1) Lamp energy saving

The Shengyao high-efficiency luminaire is used in the local floodlighting of the bottom layer and the top layer to reduce the power consumption of the spotlight. Use high quality fixtures to reduce the cost of repairs and equipment replacement.

The main part of the façade uses linear LED floodlights to illuminate the roof and cornices of the building to save energy while ensuring lighting.

(2) Management control

The design of the lighting control system is divided into three lighting modes to control the night lighting (three sets of start and stop buttons are provided). The weekday mode, the general holiday mode and the major holiday mode respectively make the lighting usage control flexible and save the lighting power consumption.
