Current radio signal transmission equipment has many limitations and relies mainly on routers. In contrast, the bulb is more space-constrained and does not require line connections. Especially in China, energy-saving and environmentally-friendly LED light sources are also replacing traditional incandescent lamps on a large scale. LED bulbs look magical and convenient. Can it enter thousands of households like WiFi, or even replace WiFi? Li Yuzhi told reporters that since the lighting Internet has not yet developed into an industrialized stage, the price is slightly more expensive. For example, the three light bulbs with Internet access function of Philips are priced at about 2,000 yuan. At present, it is only put into trial use in a few five-star hotels. Once the chip modules and equipment that are connected to the Internet enter the industrialization stage, the price of LED Internet access will drop significantly.

In the future, the R&D team will also consider installing biometric sensors on the LED bulbs that can be accessed on the Internet. The use of a single lamp to realize the Internet of Things in the entire home environment is just around the corner.
